Coming from the batch of local players is David Harris who takes home the first ever leg of the 2010 Coral.co.uk British Masters Poker Tour. The event was staged at the Gala Casino, Harbourside, Bristol.

Harris plays regularly at the casino, he outlasted a field of 109 players. He walks away with almost £16,000 and the Bristol Champion title from the tournament that was held on Sunday night.

He was assured of his victory after harvesting all the chips against Tom Fielding. After Harris got the trophy, the tour manager by the name of Mark O’Donnell stated, ‘It has been another great event here in Bristol, and we deliberately kicked off the CBMPT here because we knew it would live up to the cracking standard that was displayed here last year. It is possibly one of the toughest local fields on the tour, and the final table proved that.”

The poker tour will move into the Leeds from June 11th up to June 13th. Harris triumph has proven that never underestimate the capacity of locals. Just wait for the latest updates about the ongoing tour.
