PokerTek Established ProCore

The PokerTek releases the automated poker tables and introduced their newest product known as ProCore.  The ProCore product enlarged at the PokerPro tables.  The key concept of the ProCore is to work on with multi table games just like the automation process used in the PokerPro that is presently managing one table at a time.

However, ProCore won’t only settle for poker, as a matter of fact they will proceed with their first ever game featuring the blackjack.  Casinos can also make use of the ProCore tables same as their PokerPro tables, however, there are additional selections of games for players to enjoy.  Latest games that will be offered in the casinos are just a part of hitting the standard of demand.

Local Player Hits the First leg of the 2010 Coral.co.uk British Masters Poker Tour

Coming from the batch of local players is David Harris who takes home the first ever leg of the 2010 Coral.co.uk British Masters Poker Tour. The event was staged at the Gala Casino, Harbourside, Bristol.

Harris plays regularly at the casino, he outlasted a field of 109 players. He walks away with almost £16,000 and the Bristol Champion title from the tournament that was held on Sunday night.

He was assured of his victory after harvesting all the chips against Tom Fielding. After Harris got the trophy, the tour manager by the name of Mark O’Donnell stated, ‘It has been another great event here in Bristol, and we deliberately kicked off the CBMPT here because we knew it would live up to the cracking standard that was displayed here last year. It is possibly one of the toughest local fields on the tour, and the final table proved that.”

The poker tour will move into the Leeds from June 11th up to June 13th. Harris triumph has proven that never underestimate the capacity of locals. Just wait for the latest updates about the ongoing tour.

Andrew Couldridge Outlasted 649 Players in PokerStars UKIPT Nottingham

Going home with a sparkling £80,000, Andrew Couldridge won the PokerStars UK & Ireland Poker Tour Nottingham.  This event is noted as one of the largest poker tournaments that take off in UK. The tournament gathered a field of 650 players joining the £500 main event.

Couldridge played for three days and eliminated Oliver Schaffman. In London Couldridge own a plumbing business. After his victory, he stated that, ‘It’s been a very tiring three days of ups and downs. This was my first UKIPT event; it’s a very good tour with lots of play and [it] was a very enjoyable tournament.”

Aside from the main event, UKIPT Nottingham also staged other events such as £100 Ladies event and the £200 six-max event which attracts online players. One of the winners who walk away with £11,000 is from the Team PokerStars, JP Kelly. On June 24th, the UKIPT will move into Killarney, Ireland for the €1000+€100 main event.

Obrestad donning her new Full Tilt Poker Gear

As the latest member to Full Tilt Poker’s team of Red Pros, Obrestad will be put on her new Full Tilt Poker gear when she arrives in Las Vegas for the 2010 WSOP. The young sensation has spent time in Sin City during the Series over the past couple of years, but finally gets her chance to race for a stateside bracelet in 2010.

In addition to her online accomplishments, Obrestad has gathered $2.7 million in live tournament earnings during her young profession. She became the youngest bracelet champion ever in 2007 by winning the inaugural WSOP Europe Main Event the day before her 19th birthday. The $2.1 million prize framed the record for a single-event payout to a female player, set before by UB.com’s Annie Duke, who won $2 million at the 2004 WSOP Tournament of Champions.
